1/18/11 Need a good book to read?
I LOVED this book. It is written by David Nicholls. It is written about 1 day every year and what is going on between this girl and this guy over like a 20 yr period. It is very unpredictable!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!
Hand made flowers are very popular right now.
I'd like to show you a couple.
The second one I made at Archivers using some new flower punch system. It's really beautiful. I am thinking of all the stuff I already own that I could use to make these.
After punching, you curve the petals with a tool, color the edges with copic, glue them on to a snowflake punched base and then put yellow flocking in the middle for "pollen".
The first one is made out of ribbon! It's really easy.
First punch a circle out. Then adhere the ribbon to the center of the circle with a brad. Then, twist the ribbon, adhering it to the paper circle every now and then with a glue dot. Keep twisiting til the circle is full!

"Kind of" an H2H challenge
This card's colors remind me of the H2H challenge. I cant officially make it an entry because none of the papers or products are CTMH! It's lovely though, isnt it?

I didn't have the new blue ink and we were allowed to use sorbet so I did that. Its kind of boring but maybe next month will be better!

Heart to Heart Challenges
I have decided to start doing these challenges. Every month "Heart to Heart" challenges comes out with a color pallette to use on cards. This is using "close to my Heart" products. These are the colors for this month. Stayed tuned tomorrow and I will post my card!
I am seriously going to jump back in to this!
Call it a New Years resolution if you want but I am going to start committing myself to posting more on this blog! Stay tuned!
