12/25/11 Merry Christmas!

I hope your morning has been as blessed and fun as ours!
I change my blog a little (added a picture of Tucker all decked out for the holidays!) I also "brightened it up" and got rid of the gray back ground.
I hope to post more scrapbooking soon. I can't wait to clean up my basement (Right now it looks like a Christmas wrapping station!)and then drag out the cricut! I have some ideas!!!!
AND....The new "Close to my Heart" catalog for Spring/Summer came (for us consultants only) but now I am even more inspired! Lots of cute ideas in there!
Have a great Holiday!

12/22/11 I"m back! With Valentines this time!

I made this for a class I am doing in January. I scraplifted the idea and colors from The Close To My Heart Fall/Winter catalog.

12/2211 Valentine

I copied this from this months "Papercrafts" Magazine. I just love it!
I used all CTMH products. The Heart and the sentiment are from Dec. "Stamp of the Month".

12/22 I"m back--with easy Valentines!

I used these stickers I had laying around from CTMH. Sentiment is from December Stamp of the Month from CTMH.

12/22/11 I'm back!

Sorry I haven't been around lately! But now I'm back!
Here's a sympathy card I made. I used "Liquid Glass" from CTMH on the flower and butterfly.

11/6/11 Starbucks birthday card

Our oldest daughter turns 13 today! I made this card quick and easy because I love Kraft paper and I thought the starbucks gift card holder looks nice with it.

On the front I used CTMH kraft borders and colored it with a black marker. Then just a scrap of cardstock to mount the card on and I used old stickers inside.

9/28/11 Directions for pocket card

Take a piece of paper cut 11x4
Fold in half
Make a triangle fold (note in picture-you are not going corner to corner-you are leaving an edge)
Tape down triangle.
Put adhesive on just the sides of the card and fold up and adhere
Decorate as you wish
(this is also cute with the pocket going horizontally)

9/28/11 Tags for my next class

We will make 40 of these.

9/28/11 Tutorial for gift card holder

Cut paper in a 6x6 square
Fold on a diagonal to make a triangle
Take pointed ends and fold to the opposite side (see picture)
Glue tips and sides of the fold only (do not glue the top of the folds)
You can be done now or fold one layer from the top portion and tuck into the front (this is especially nice if you have double sided paper)
Decorate however you wish!

9/15/11 Baby shower keepsakes

I got this free download from "pinterest". I then made a pouch out of a 9x9 album protector. I simply cut off the 3-hole punched area, measured a 9x12 piece of cardstock, folded it over and attached it with sticky velcro.

9/15/11 Fall card

I made a mask with a circle punch and sponged the "harvest moon".

9/13/11 H2H challenge for the week

This week's challenge is to use your favorite die cut. I cut this from the "Art Philosophy" cricut cartridge. I made it into a magnet and I tried to put some lavendar in it from my yard but it fell apart.
Gotta think of something to do with it....It's cute though!

9/12/11 Bottle cap magnets

The kids and I have been making these like crazy. Just punch a one inch circle of your favorite scrapbook paper or punch paer and stick a sticker on it. Then, cover it with a clear epoxy sticker.
The bike one I actually stamped with ink.

9/13/11 Mummy pumpkin

I forget where I saw this but I had to do it immediately! Just wrap gauze around a pumpkin and glue eyes on it!

9/11/11 Treat Bags

I learned this from my friend Suzie. This bag is covered up the back side in black paper and then folded over. I attached the flap with velcro.
I cut the paper 10x3 1/2 and scored where it needed to fold over.

9/11/11 Halloween Treat Bags

This are for my neices and nephews.

9/11/11 Treat bag

I am giving this to the girls who are coming to card class this month.

9/11/11 Gift card holder for a wedding

The flower is made with the cricut cartridge "Art Philosophy", available only thru CTMH.
I am also submitting this for this week's "Heart to Heart Challenge". The challenge is to post your favorite color combo.
Althought this isn't CTMH paper I love this combo...white, black and burgandy with a touch of diamond!

9/7/11 Cute spider

Isn't he cute??? He is made with a scalloped punch and a punch I have for photo corners!
You can make his body "double thickness" and put a peppermint patty between him for a cute gift!

9/7 Christmas card using "believe" paper

The stamp set I used is called "December 25". We will make this card in class this month.

9/7/11 Christmas gift card holders

A friend of mine taught me how to make this cute envelope. You can put gift cards, cash, candy bar or whatever in it. I can't explain how to make it but if you are really interested in learning how, leave me a comment and I will try to do a tutorial.
