6/28/11 Xmas in July class

In July I start making Christmas cards in my classes. We will do 6 a month til November that way each lady has 30 by November.
I received the June stamp of the Month today and some of the kraft paper borders. Here's what I came up with.

6/27/11 H2H challenge and Mojo Monday

6/27/11-Pennant card

I know pennants are very popular right now but I don't think they are my favorite thing to do! I followed the directions from p.35 of the CTMH Spring/Summer catalog. It worked okay but this card took alot of time and I think it kind of looks like a 3 year old did it! Any suggestions or tips would be great! (I thought about just buying a triangle punch but then how do you hang it over a string?)
ARGGGH!

The stamp set is from CTMH. It was a "Stamp of the Month" last year.

I used the paper "Lucky" from CTMH. Cardstock colors are Sunset and Outdoor denim.
